“Beautiful bridge overlooking the beloved harbor.”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

Not much to dislike on this bridge, convenient to all exits of Charleston SC. The view is just beautiful while traveling across.

“AWESOME”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

What an experience if you're in the Charleston area. This bridge runs over the Cooper
River connecting Mt Pleasant and historical Charleston. Not sure how long the bridge
is, but the scenes going acorss it are breathe taking. Its a must if you're in the area.

“Bus Out, Walk Back”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

There is a great option to take the CARTA bus out from the Charleston Visitor's Center and walk back to Charleston across the Ravenel Bridge. This web page has the details. http://busec.org/routes/41-coleman-blvd/ However don't forget the part about using the restroom. It's a long walk and there are not trees out there on the Walkway. You can do it the other way, but it's hard to gauge when you'll finish so you connect with the bus. Of course people staying in Mount Pleasant would do it the opposite way. We walk the bridge several times a year when we have out of town visitors.

“Beautiful view”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

My husband, two teenagers, and I hiked the bridge on a recent vacation. The view is absolutely gorgeous! It is quite a hike though so be prepared. Once you get off the bridge you are about a mile from the Water Taxi.
