“Quick trip”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

As we drove over this bridge today, hubby and I reminisced about the old bridge that this one replaced. The former bridge was Scary! Can't believe we made it over safely all those trips. This new bridge makes the trip from Mt. Pleasant a breeze. Could use a bit better signage to/from visitors center

“Beautiful, but not #1”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

I agree with all the positive comments written about the Ravenal Bridge, but "Come On" it is in no way the #1 attraction in a great old historic City like Charleston. Fort Sumter, City Market, the Battery, and on and on the list goes. It's a beautiful addition to Charleston, but let's get realistic, it's not the main thing people travel to Charleston to experience!

“the new that connects the old”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

If you ever visited Charleston before this bridge opened up you cannot compare, but this bridge has better entrances and exits, the bridge is a visual improvement to the Charleston waterfront. This bridge does not detract from the Charleston history, and old charm, it adds an artist enhancement to the waterfront, and a statement on the town of Charleston!

“Great for Walking”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is an amazing bridge with a wonderful walk path for pedestrians.....just be sure to have on your good walking shoes, be in pretty good shape and pace yourself! It is long and uphill going with downhill in return. The views are worth the walk.
