“Fascinating Bridge”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Other than there being a lot of traffic, it is a nice ride to cross the bridge. Nice views and interesting construction.

“A public works wonder!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

The largest-budget ($63M) public works project in SC history, and it came in a year early and under budget! Great sense of sweeping space, fantastic views of Charleston, the Docks, the River, the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier (home of the US Medal of Honor Museum) and other Patriots' Point park in Mt. Pleasant, PLUS the harbor, Castle Pinckney, Forts Johnson, Sumter and Moultrie, and Sullivan's Island. It's truly a MUST SEE item.

“Great views of Charleston”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This bridge has an awesome walking sidewalk and provides the best views of Charleston. Walk it on a clear day-not to windy because it gets really windy at the top!

“A sculpture across the River”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

Huge bridges terrify me but driving over the Ravelel Bridge is like entering a piece of sculpture..wide lanes and even a jogging/walk way that is alwyas active. The only way from Charleston to Mt. Pleasant.
