We stayed at the Palmer's Pinckney Inn during a 3 week trip from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta. On arrving we were shown around by Cindy, one of the two innkeepers we met.
Cindy made us feel welcome and at home at once. The room was cozy and, as well as the bathroom, very clean. The bed was the best I slept in during our whole trip. Yes, we heard the garbage removal once or twice, but I usually sleep with ear plugs anyway and my husband just turned aroung and continued his sleep. However, I believe there shoud be a room upstairs facing the parking lot, that would be more convenient for light sleepers. I personally was very happy with the continental breakfast as I could pick anything I was up to; I had enough bacon and eggs the previous stays ;) Coffee was fresh every morning, there was a wide choice of bread, several types of cream cheese and bread spread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals and muffins/cookies.
Being located near Charleston market and Bay Street, it was perfect for strolls throuh the city and in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Also Cindy was always helpful in giving recommendations where to go and what to do. We even stayed two nights longer than originally planned and would definetely choose Palmer's Pinckney Inn again.More
