“Pretty good place, good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2014

Very unimposing from the outside, looks like an old warehouse. Inside, it WAS an old warehouse. :) Very casual, concrete floors etc. Because of this, VERY loud.

The food is quite good. They are in no danger of getting a Michelin star, but, for the price the food was surprisingly good, IMO.

I am a bit ambivalent because the noise makes conversation somewhat difficult, and there are so many great restaurants in Charleston. However, if your thing is getting good food while paying no more than absolutely necessary, this is your place.

“Excellent lunch; great setting; wonderful day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014

Fleet Landing sits in a great spot for serving visitors to the area, and as such, might get by with haphazard service and mediocre food. Neither of these are offered at Fleet Landing. We had a nice server, and I had an excellent sandwich in the fried green tomato BLT. Really good sandwich. Thanks for a good downtown experience in a great setting.

“Noisy with a Great View!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

Our party of three went on a Friday night; no reservation, waited about 20 minutes. Crowded, casual atmosphere; seafood was fresh, service prompt. Parking is limited and you may find yourself having to back out of the lot. Not fancy, but good eating. The stuffed hushpuppies were yummy!

“Poor Seafood Quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

I did not enjoy my meal at Fleet Landing. I ordered the fried shrimp thinking they would be fresh and good…they were clearly dropped in the fryer out of a bag/deep freezer. The only redeeming thing about this restaurant was the great biscuits and my wife’s order of fish and chips. I cannot in good faith recommend a “seafood restaurant” that cannot properly prepare fried shrimp.

“A little off the beaten path.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

Ate here with 2 friends and my sister after attending the Family Circle Cup. This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant. It was easy to get a reservation about 5 hours prior which I recommend because the wait can be long. The biscuits are delicious! My cocktail was "okay". Shared 1/2 dozen oysters. She crab soup was good but not the best I have had in Charleston. For my entree I had the sea scallops with green beans and french fries; I was surpised at the serving size for the scallops, I thought it was a generous amount. The pricing was reasonable considering that the restaurant is located downtown. There is also parking at the restaurant that is free and available.
