Hit the Noisy Oyster on first night in Charleston. The location is excellent as the MarketPlace starts right across the street. The booths along the walls have windows that they roll up so, to me, that, is the best place to sit to enjoy the ambiance and excitment of Charleston passing by. I got the crab cakes which were excellent and the wife got shrimp alredo which had good thick sauce. Our drinks were good and the server, bearded fellow, was very friendly. It was a good experience overall I just feel that it was a little pricey - can get the same meal at home (a touristy city as well) for $15 less so that is my only complaint.

We had a wonderful lunch and great service. Our server was Brandi who was very attentive to our needs and she even went out of her way to try and find me a long sleeved t-shirt that I wanted.
The food was delicious and fairly priced.

Have eaten here for the past four years when we come to Charleston. The Grits are the best found as far as we are concerned. Calamarie is fresher than other places we have tried. Like eating in a place the Staff are friendly and the service offered is worth a good tip!
Thanks Sarah and Shelby- We enjoyed the friendly conversation while there:) Were so impressed with the service of the staff we asked to speak to Frank the mgr. to express how pleased we were

There are several excellent places to dine on this street, so we expected this place to be decent enough. We were very, vey, very wrong. Our service was great (Thank you Kyle) so we made sure to leave him a good tip. But as for the food...well, let me explain.
The crab and shrimp dip was horrible. It tasted like heavy cream and cream cheese melted in a microwave with frozen cocktail shrimps. Plus the chips were stale. The fish was fresh and good, but the bread was stale and hard. The oysters were the worse oysters that we had in Charleston all week. We really thought that with the prime real estate that it owned, that it would have had better food. Save your money and go to Nigel's OR walk another two blocks and get Magnolia's.
