“MY NEW FAVORITE -- TOP NOTCH!”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

I had the pleasure of hosting a group event at High Cotton. The service, reception (cocktails and appetizers), and dinner was nothing less than OUTSTANDING. All 40 of my guests raved about the food. The hit was their pork chop -- I want to go back again just for that! And, their smoked twice baked potato was out of this world. We had the grand marnier creme brulee for dessert -- FABULOUS. Without any hesitation, I recommend High Cotton for a top notch dining experience!

“Our best meal in Charleston”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

We hit all the top restaurants last week and had our most memorable meal here. Can't say what it was exactly but certainly the food, drinks, service.

Highly recommended.

“Delicious lunch”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

We had a delicious lunch there. The service could have been better (such as coffee brought with no sugar & then a long wait). The food was absolutely delicious. Reservations recommended.

“Still our favorite southern gourmet restaurant in charleston!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

New southern cuisine at its best. This restaurant has been somewhat commercialized but it has remained exceptional. Service was excellent, ambiance fantastic, food was a gastronome's delight. The lamb and braised octopus were both truly memorable, the pork belly I asked to have topped with a fried quail egg and it was heavenly. They cure their pork in house and simply put: they have their game together. This is a must eat spot. Forget the hype at other spots, high cotton delivers on point every time.

“Great Service and Excellent Food”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Mary Catherine, our server, really made the dinning experience one to remember. She was well informed about the menu and how items would relate to each other. Knew what seasonings were used and what could cause problems for those with diet restrictions. Her suggestions were right on. Atmosphere was just right, mixture of young and old, we helped bring the average age up a bit.
