From Teresa at the bar to Taylor at the table, this place could succeed in New York or any international venue. When Teresa noticed sediment in my husband's wine glass at the bar, she sent two glasses of our choice to our table. My husband's peach salad and filet were delicious. My appetizer trio of petite lettuces, escargot with morel mushrooms and foie gras were about the best plates put in front of me in years. Service and ambiance (including the jazz that started at 7 pm) made it a memorable evening.

This place is a bit stuffy for our tastes. Having 3 severs and several other people stop at our table very often, was a little too suffocating and interruptive.

The "jazz" is more like lounge/elevator music. We were expecting more peppy/new orleans style, that you want to stay and watch. We picked this place over others, after reading about the jazz but should have opted for the many other choices in Charleston for the money - a foodies paradise.

The pork was nice sized and good taste with the peach and sauce, although could be a bit more tender and the flounder with shrimp was good, but not the best.

The samples from chef for dessert was a very nice touch and appreciated.

Food was great, but you could feed a third world country for a month on what they charge for lunch for two.

This place was worth the money. I had the tenderloin (awesome) and my wife had the flounder and shrimp, which she was very happy with. However, I think she enjoyed the cheesecake desert more. Wine by the glass selections were great - I recommend the Martini Cabernet. We were right by the jazz band and it was not too loud as others have posted. Service was very good and the samples from the chef just made everything perfect.

This restaurant is a great place for a special evening out. The service is wonderful and friendly. We chose the 6 course tasting menu which is a really fun way to get to try different things. The duck was a little disappointing, but everything else was great.
