We had planned to skip Magnolia's as we'd heard it was overrated and overpriced. However, our plans on our last day in town changed due to weather and we were looking for a place for brunch, so we decided to try it anyway. I'm glad we did! We started with homemade potato chips with blue cheese and scallions. I know... sounds weird... but it was excellent!! I had caprese quiche that was amazing, and my husband had seafood & grits that he said was to die for. We sat in the bar area as we didn't have a reservation. The service was a little slower as there appeared to be one waitress for the entire bar area, but we weren't in a rush and it didn't bother us. We were able to order anything off the menu, just as though we were seated in the main dining area. The prices were on par with other higher-end restaurants in town and the food was excellent. Only complaint was the A/C unit blowing on us the entire time. Would explain why two tables were empty when we came in!! Would definitely return and/or recommend to others.
