Their motto says it all. From the oyster appetizer with the most amazing succotash ever to the shellfish shrimp and grits. ..awesome! Fine evening cannot wait to return!

“Awesome food”

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here last night. The combination of flavours was outstanding. Presentation too was perfect . It was very busy and loud which we liked...some may not. Highly recommend this restaurant !

“Overhyped, just average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

My wife and I dined here on a Saturday Night and was looking forward to an amazing dinner based on the reviews and menu description but unfortunatley, that did not happen.

Appetizer- Fried Mac and Cheese. Honestly the Cheesecake Factory Mac and Cheese balls are way better than this concoction that came out. The mac and cheese had no sauce or seasoning at all and was dry. The bacon jam and relish topping tasted good but did not cover up the bland mac and cheese

Shellfish over grits- This was pretty decent meal but wasn't amazing.

Ribeye- This was very dissapointing, the ribeye looked like something you would find at Golden Corral, not at a high end restaraunt.

Overall I would skip this place. Maybe we had an off night but it is definitley not worth the 100 dollar price tag when we could go to other places and have a better meal for half the price.

“Fabulous Southern Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Nice atmosphere, free parking (rare in Charleston) and the food was fantastic. I had a southern favorite - grits with shrimp, scallops and lobster - best I have ever had.

“A Star Among Charleston's Finest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Make a reservation or you won't get a table. We tried a stop by and ended up at the bar. What started as drinks evolved into an entire meal at the bar and it was exceptional. Among the highlights were the crab cakes, the tuna and the friend green tomatoes. The crowd was an interesting mix of ages and both locals and tourists. We'd make a reservation next time so we could enjoy the entrees which looked amazing but our bar meal was one of our best in Charleston.
