Honestly, in the four days we were in town, we did not have a bad meal, but our experience at SNOB was a highlight. It had been on a list of recommendations we got from friends and co-workers, but we didn't think we'd get to it. On a day when we had a late and large breakfast, we were ready for dinner earlier than normal and were walking nearby. So we walked in about 4pm. Turns out they don't open until 5 for dinner. We didn't have a reservation, per se, but we were put on a wait list for one of the three tables in the front window. That was fine with us! Our waiter was fabulous, as was the manager, who stopped by and told us about how the Maverick kitchen moniker came to be when we asked. The food was excellent. I started with the prosciutto wrapped asparagus and my husband had the she crab soup. Both excellent. The corn bread was yummy, too. For our entrees, I had the sea scallops and my husband had the tuna steak. Both cooked to perfection and wonderful. We opted out of dessert, but I'm sure it would've been wonderful. After dinner, we walked next door and purchased a bottle of Maverick wine... the restaurant's own label for wine and liquor. We would go back in a heartbeat, and recommend it to family and friends!
