We were spending some time with friends who are locals and they said this was a good place to go before the symphony. They were right. We had all seafood entrees and salads for starters. The split the salads for us because we really didn't want a big one. Our entrees were very good. I had the pan seared scallops which I enjoyed greatly. We did a little sampling around the table and concluded that everybody got a very nice dinner. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our server knew the menu and the beers and so was a good aide in making choices. We also told them we were on the way to the symphony and they made sure their service was prompt. As I looked around the dining area, it seemed that everybody was getting nice prompt service.
This is not an inexpensive place, but the ambiance and the quality of the food are worth the price of admission. I would come here again if I ever get back to Charleston.
