Don't get me wrong - this is a very good restaurant - and not every restaurant in Charleston has to have fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits at the top of the menu. But you know how some chefs get fussy with the basics just to be different? I found this to be the case at McCrady's. Plates as art belonging museums, not in restaurants.
