Based on restaurant reviews, we wanted to go to Magnolia. Unfortunately Magnolia was under renovation. The parking attendant told us that Blossom and Cypress are owned by the same people as Magnolia. So we decided to try Blossom instead. We were seated quickly even if we didn't have any reservations. Our waiter was very informative to explain the specials for the day and that's what we ordered. Our children ordered pasta and my husband and I ordered the fish. It was good. But what we all love was the dessert recommended by our server- red velvet bread pudding. Our guy even explained to us how Andrea ( pastry chef) makes it. Price is reasonable. Atmosphere is good too. Will definitely come back.

Blossom has a convenient location and is open at times that many restaurants are closed. The pizzas are good but in the last few years the quality of wood fired pizzas in Charleston has skyrocketed. Again the pastas are good but not exciting. It still remains a worthwhile place for lunch. Perhaps it was a bit off on my last visit as it was a Monday night. I would still give it overall a 3.5-3.6 rating.

Visited Blossom for lunch as it was recommended by our concierge. The ambiance was lovely. My husband and I are still talking about the hot out of the oven rosemary bread served before the meal. I had the crab BLT (with fried green tomatoes) and my husband had coconut shrimp-- both were excellent. i would highly recommend a meal here.

wife and i brought 3 friends from out of state here based on reviews. and it was one of our planned stops for restaurant week.
very nice restaurant. it was a busy friday night. we showed up earlier than our 7:15 reservations.
we were seated without any issues.
our waiter chris was awesome! not overbearing, he was very informed about the menu and wine list as well as the specials. (it is nice when the wait staff knows the specials menu w/o having to read off of a cheat sheet)
the 4 ladies started with a bottle of wine that chris recommended...all thought it was a great choice (and they are all "winers") i had vodka tonic...hard to screw up...it was good.
we all started with the mussels appetizer...TO DIE FOR! not enough bread to sop up the broth. they could make a soup appetizer with the broth.
most of us opted for the trout dish...again awesome! nice crust/topping, not overbearing, but great flavor. the only issue i had was that i was hoping for locally harvested fish....(nitpicking here)
one of our lady friends had the pork dish. she said that she loved it. no complaints whatsoever.
desserts were a peanut butter something? (special, not impressed) and chocolate something or other (another special that wasn't special enough to write about).
in the words of a famous california governor..."i'll be back!"
