My wife and I have been to Charleston a number of times but this was our first visit to Blossom. It has now become our favorite place to eat. It is rather casual and relaxing compared to some of the other expensive really upscale places. Very friendly and helpful service. But it is all about the food. We started with the pork belly and is was delicious. We were with friend so we were able to sample 4 different entrees. From the short ribs to the duck, to the daily fish special, the meals were flawless. Best meal we had during our entire stay. Do not miss this place.

We sat in the back of the restaurant and enjoyed looking out onto the outdoor terrace. The interior is also lovely, with warm woods and stacked stone walls. The service was friendly but inattentive. Food was delicious. We all ordered different things so we could taste one another's selections. The roasted tomato and vidalia onion soup and fried green tomatoes were standouts. The grits were creamy perfection - true Southern comfort food. Everything else was good except for my caprese salad, which was swimming in balsamic dressing. We all enjoyed the vibe and the food. Giving it four instead of five stars for the apathetic waitstaff and the long wait for food.

I visited Blossom for Sunday brunch in early May. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is great! The interior is well-decorated, which makes it feel historical and eclectic, without feeling cliché (kind of like all of historic Charleston, to be fair). They offered $10 carafes of mimosa, made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which, of course, we thoroughly enjoyed! I had a Caesar salad with grilled salmon and a cup of the tomato and vidalia onion soup. Both were excellent. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage links. All of their meat is processed in-house, which apparently pays off because it is delicious! The portions were perfect. Overall, we really enjoyed Blossom and would recommend it for a nice brunch.

We had lunch on the sidewalk as it was a gorgeous day. The server was quick to take our drink orders while looked at the menu. The drinks came right out and she took our orders. The lunch was fresh and tasted great. I had the crab sandwich plenty of fresh crab meat. My wife had the veggie wrap and the veggies were fresh.
