“"Outstanding"”

We were there on Sunday and the service was friendly and prompt. We had the tomato pie and the biscuit and gravy with fried chicken breast and fried egg. Both were outstanding. The restaurant stayed full the entire time we were there. At times there was a short line waiting to order. A tip. If there is a line, go up to the counter and get a menu to review while waiting. Saves a lot of time. Definitely going back!

“No Frills”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

We returned to sample some new creations for breakfast. We were not disappointed. The stuffed French toast was outstanding. there are many choices on the menu and everything is fresh made. Cooked items are made to order. There is not a lot of seating inside, so arrive early or order for take out.

“Best Breakfast downtown!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Tucked away next to a convenience store~ Not the "perfect" location...We were @ the Inn 1/2 bl. away. BUT was worth it. The cooks and workers so friendly, the grits, eggs, really great and the biscuits and bacon really yummy! Great prices and a fun place to go to. Went 2X on our visit. Drive ins Diners and Dives was there in 2011 Guy Fieri signed the wall.

“Great breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

Tiny tiny diner next to a convenience store. We went once but turned around as there were no seats. Returned because the food did look great and the locals said it was very good. The grits were terrific, smooth and creamy. I had the spinach, gouda, ham and avocado omlet and it was very good. I wish I would have tried the tomato pie but was too full and didn't realize that was one of their specities. While we were there, a local farmer came in to chat with staff about him having peas soon. It was great to see the local farmer and restaurant interacting. They certainly use fresh food. Just wish it was bigger place. The backery desserts looked amazing and original but again, i was just too full. Great place!
