As you see the Blind Tiger from the street, you may not want to go in...even after you are inside it looks like a dive bar, but keep going to the back and you will be transported to a lovely garden out side with lights on the trees and little tables all around. The drinks are good and happy hour is worth the time. If it is raining, however, don't go.

Great comfortable spot for a nightcap.
Was a nice place to hang out after leaving work while residing in Charleston.

Very pub like atmosphere, but the food was awesome. Not a drinker, but there was a HUGE selection of beers, and several craft brews too. Right on the main drag, and not as ritzy as I would have made it out to be, but that was a nice thing honestly -- very comfortable setting -- the windows overlooking the main street are really neat to sit at and people watch :-)

The Blind Tiger is a very comfortable and friendly neighborhood pub located on one of the main streets (Broad Street) in the historic part of Charleston. I was surprised that it was not a tourist trap. At the same time, it is not as upscale as I would expect for the location. Some might consider that an advantage, relative to the many overpriced, "fashionable" places in the surrounding area. The food was good, though not great (tuna tacos were very good), but the bartender was very friendly and it was a good value. A good place to stop for a drink while walking around historic Charleston.

Don't miss the holy city draw beer. Great Cuban sandwich. A real find in a city full of great restaurants. A good bar with a good lunch. Good service, small and friendly, just a place to relax and have a nice light lunch. Don't miss this jewel in the rough. FUN
