“our traditional place to go”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

We go to Charleston every year at Christmas. Our first meal the night of our arrival is TBonz. It is also a short walk from the hotel. The food is excellent.

“Good Find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

While visiting the market we were looking for a nice place for lunch. We encountered a "hawker" on the street recommending Kaminsky's Bakery and their pies. When we said that we hadn't eaten lunch, he recommended Tbonz, the sister restaurant right next door. We were seated right away. the staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I both had the Angus burgers with seasoned fries. They were delicious and juicy. A very nice surprise was the choice of grilled onions, fried onions and grilled mushrooms at no extra charge. i had them all. the fried onions were thin, battered, crunchy onion strings. They were all delicious. We were too full to have dessert. Well worth a visit.

“Fried Pickles”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

We pulled into Charleston late evening and was hungry. The first thing I saw was the dessert bar! We went in and placed our order and the food was delicious even late at night! The best Fried pickels I have eaten. She crab soup was superb. Went back the next eveing to watch football and have dessert! Thanks for the great service. Only one concern, from the restaurant it was a little difficult for someone in the wheelchair to get to the restrooms.

“Friendly Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

This restaurant is right on Market Street and can be very busy but we were there at a slower time of year. The server was very friendly and the food was delicious. The she crab soup was hot and tasty, and the shrimp salad with lime dressing was well presented and also yummy. No room left for desserts but the bakery right next door offered interesting selections. Looked fabulous passing by our table.

Thank you for visiting TBonz in Downtown Charleston. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience at TBonz and that your food and service was great. The bakery next door is our sister restaurant, Kaminsky's and of course we would love for you to save room next time you are visiting. We hope to have you back again soon!
