We had their General Tso's Chicken and really enjoyed it. Service was really good as well. We will be back when we are back in Charleston.

“Amazing Lunch on a Beautiful Patio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014

We had reservations for lunch (highly recommended as it is always very busy) at 1:15pm. We waited an extra 15-20mins for our table but they had park benches set up outside in a nice shady spot so the wait was no problem for us. They were also really apologetic for us having to wait with a reso. We sat on the patio (also highly recommended as it is beautiful and cool even on a very hot day). The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The General Tso's chicken is unbelievable! Start with the Chinese Chicken Salad as an app and go Asian fusion all the way. Such an amazing spot for lunch!

“Beautifully tucked away gem in downtown Charleston.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2014

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely supper at Cru during our stay in Charleston. The staff upon entry thru the meal and on exiting were happy to see us and treated us well the entire time.
The meal was equally as impressive. I had the seared breast of duck which was done perfectly. My wife had the bbq's pork shank with an impressive presentation and the meat was very tender as it should be. Won't be our last trip to Cru next trip.

“Great food! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

Cru cafe had us worried because it was so tiny, but the food was well worth the wait! The specials that day were a pulled pork bbq sandwich and an open faced salmon sandwich. My wife and I got both of them and man was it fantastic! The service was great and we finished off our culinary experience with their delicious bread pudding.

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2014

Be sure to make a reservation several days in advance, gets very crowded.(for a reason) Small cottage near the horse stables. All food is amazing, but really love the fried green tomatoes & mac & cheese. Reasonably priced, especially by Charleston standards.
