We just left this restaurant and it is very good! It is a very small place so I recommend reservations. There were two in our party and we slipped by with no call ahead. The lady who drove our carriage ride recommend it. We ordered the fish special with green pea purée and it was soo good.

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch here. We came around 1:00 so there (surprisingly) wasn't a wait.

I had the special of the day - pimento cheese burger. So good! My husband had the shrimp pasta on the menu which had the most beautiful blend of flavors.

Our waiter was the best waiter I've ever had. So knowledgable and caring. I wish I could remember his name! He made our experience even better.

great food- tiny place, our waitress seemed to lose interest in us when we did not order alcohol-We waited almost a half hour past our reservation time, bummer! But the host did comp us a free appetizer- would have rather sat on time. The food really did make up for the service.

We were lucky to snag a table on the porch as this place is packed with people who had the foresight to book reservations. During our meal, we saw a few couples get turned away that didn't make reservations. Due to the small dining area, I wouldn't recommend large crowds, but it would be a cute date spot. However, it is directly across from the horse stalls for the carriage rides so if you're sitting outside, be prepared for some smells to waft over. The main dining room is perfectly cute though!
The dishes were well prepared and tasty. The fried green tomatoes were not greasy and were delicious! The gnocchi is fluffy and light, but the sauce was a little heavy. My full sized fried oyster salad was a large portion and had plenty of oysters. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Be sure to make reservations because this restaurant gets busy. It is a wonderful place for lunch
Especially in the warmer weather when you can sit on the front porch. Standouts were mushroom soup with truffles, shrimp BLT, soft shell crab with creamed corn and Chinese chicken salad. Lovely attentive service.
