“Great Service, Wonderful Food, and Great Location ”
Reviewed April 3, 2014 via mobile

I dined here along with my coworkers and my boss for lunch. The crab dip was fantastic, especially when you use the hush puppies instead of crackers. Our server, Sydney C, was very attentive, polite, and gave us above and beyond service. Everyone's food came out within 10-15 minutes, and we had a very enjoyable lunch. Except for some maintenance being done. The drilling was loud, but seeing the dolphins in the water from our table and the excellent service and good food made up for the little bit of noise at the beginning of our meal. We will definitely be back!

“Some good some bad”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

It was packed and it kind of reminded me of Red Lobster with folks waiting in the lobby for a seat. There was an open table in the lounge so we decided to take it and not wait an hour to be seated in the main dining room. This was not creative cookery which was fine, and most of the dishes were straight forward preparations of seafood classics. The variety offered was excellent.

We had been indulging in seafood for days, so we ordered the buffalo wings as an appetizer just for a change of pace. They were decent, definitely on the mild side, but we enjoyed them. The buffalo style fried oysters did not fare as well. You should never douse a fried food with sauce as it only defeats the purpose of making something crispy to begin with.

Service was hot and cold. We knew it was busy in the restaurant but some of the extended absences were just too much. The complimentary hush puppies only arrived after we asked where they were on their menu. Unfortunately our eagerness to indulge in this Southern specialty disappeared when we took our first bite. Someone needs some fry lessons as the balls were super greasy. They were left untouched.

The steamed crab and shrimp combo platter was good, but nothing special. The sides chosen, collard greens and coleslaw tasted fresh and well seasoned. Two companions ordered the seared tuna and both were floored by the amount of fish. The overlapping slices literally covered an entire dinner plate. Quantity of course doesn't equal quality as one of the diners thought the fish did not taste too fresh. Many of the waffle fries that accompanied both tuna dishes remained untouched. A wise move of not ingesting tons of calories when the food is so mediocre.

Overall, this was a place that one visit was enough at least for our crew. An OK experience just isn't enough to draw a diner back for a repeat performance.

My mom has an onion and garlic allergy.... They were very accommodating. Laura Ames was our waitress and made us feel at home. We will recommend this place.

“Excellent Server”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but our server made the meal even better. Dennis was so attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, our meal would not have been the same if we had anyone else. If I ever go back, I will be sure to look for him again, thanks for a great meal Dennis!
