The rise of this place off the beaten path has been amazing to watch. Even better, we watch from inside with a ready fork and palate. The food is always amazing, this time the scallops! Being in the know, I hear of a new menu for the spring. The staples that have made this place so popular with us will stay, but I can't wait to see the new stuff. I'd like to see some Lamb or Pork done by the kitchen at Burwell's. They have steaks down to a science.
The bar is amazing too. Last week we had a cocktail that had been intensified using sous vide techniques! Two actually, a spicy margarita and another with all kinds of things I can't even remember. I just love all their interest in trying new ideas.
The energy here is why we love it. The building is gorgeous and rich with vibe. Thanks to everyone that helps this great little neighborhood steak place keep progressing. I enjoy it every time. Oh, and ask for a guy named swanky when you get your dessert. Awesome.
