First trip to Stars for dinner - have done drinks on rooftop a few times which is also great. Weekday night so not too crowded but I can see how it might be quite loud when packed full on a Friday or Saturday night. The building is nicely remodeled but the higher ceiling and exposed beams do make for loud acoustics.
Our meal was terrific. Had mini-burgers (which are quite large) and oysters as appetizers followed by salmon, tuna, scallops and the pot pie. Everyone really enjoyed their entree. Get the sweet potato risoto as a side dish for the table to share: It was a hit with our group. Desserts were really good with nice presentations. We had the s'more pie and pluff mudd pudding. Both delicious without being too heavy.
Tried a few of the wines on tap but didn't find any favorites among them and at $8-$13 per glass, I thought they should have been better.
Service was excellent. Our server was Shady who answered menu questions well and made good recommendations.
