Description: SIMPLY LOWCOUNTRY: Lowcountry Bistro focuses only on the freshest ingredients since all of the food we cook is from scratch. On the menu you will find cult favorites like Chicken and Waffles to Lowcountry classics like Shrimp and Grits. We also believe that great food can be affordable. Many of our lunch dishes are under $10. Our goal as a restaurant is to serve high quality, delicious food, at a fair price. We hope you agree after your meal at Lowcountry Bistro. SISTER RESTAURANT TO 82 QUEEN As an icon of the city for over 30 years, we have seen restaurants come and go. We pride ourselves on the fact that we were one of the first original Lowcountry cuisine restaurants to open their doors in the city. We know Lowcountry and after diligently researching Market Street restaurants, have come to the conclusion that what the area needs is a true, authentic Lowcountry restaurant.

Stopped here on the 2nd day of a short vacation with my BF. Having grown up in Charleston I have high expectations with the food ...the service was incredibly slow...it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to even acknowledge us...both of our drinks sat empty for 5 minutes once we ordered them. the appetizer was tasteless and the food was boring. The serving was small and the food was nothing special and over priced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone...there are so many better places nearby...Magnolia's, Slightly North of Broad (SNoB), Southend Brewery, Market Street Saloon, etc...

The food at Low Country was outstanding. It was absolutely a 5 star meal.
My husband had the waffles and fried chicken with Pecan Butter. I had the Filet Medallions with a Blackberry sauce . We also had an appetizer that was a Pecan encrusted Goat Cheese served with baguettes topped with pepper jam.... Yum Yum Yum! We also had the Crab Cake which was also excellent. Adam our server was the best. Very attentive and very knowledgable about all the food. I would definitely go back and recomend it highly.

This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The Charleston Cuban. The pork shoulder and pulled pork together was delicious. We will most definitely go back!

Stopped here while doing some shopping at the market. Been coming to charleston for over 10 years for vacation but never stopped in-im glad we did! Party of seven people for lunch. We were seated upstairs-lovely decor and homey feeling. Ordered the chicken and waffles-absolutely delicious! Huge portion too. Others ordered shrimp and grits, salmon, cinnamon bread, blt sandwich-everyone commented how yummy and fresh everything was. I would definitely come back on my next trip!
