“Top service.”

The only thing I would improve on is organization. Getting ready on a small boat is tough but tougher when no one is directing traffic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and highly concerned with the safety and happiness of the divers.

“A wonderful experance.”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

My son and I went out with captain Tom and Sally on a day trip for 2 dives. First to the Lead Anchor Ledges and then to the Charleston 60. Both were great dive locations.
I was impressed with there knowledge of the dive sights and the briefings given before we dove each location. The crew they employ are great. Very professional and friendly.
I was very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Charleston Scuba to any one. Thanks Guys, look forward toward future dives with you.

“Y-73 Charter 7-19-2013”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

To make it short:
Charleston Scuba is one of the safest organizations I have seen. Due to the weather and sea conditions, this past trip was VERY trying for the boat staff as well as the divers. However, they made it as comfortable as possible and those who made both dives seemed pleased. The Trinity is well maintained and it's layout affords the divers both open and covered areas. The briefings were short but informative. Hats off to Charleston Scuba...you do it right!

Thank you so much for posting your review. We appreciate your taking the time to do so! It sounds like it was one of those not-so-calm days offshore Charleston - thank you for recognizing our crew's abilities. We hope to see you diving with us again on a calmer day when you can have a relaxing dive.

“Great dive”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

We took our son out to the Fred Day for two dives. He is a beginner and we wanted to give him some lower visibility experience in a local setting. Charleston SCUBA was great from beginning to end. The check-in, transportation to the dock, and boat loading were quick, we got to the wreck in forty minutes or so, and were in the water in no time.

The Day is mostly a pile of concrete blocks and the vis is usually about 20 feet. It's an easy dive, fifty feet max depth, and perfect for beginners. One of the instructors went down with us on the first dive to point out the sights. He spent extra time and effort with my son, which was much appreciated. Lots of fish, sea urchins, some parts of the old ship, easy.

When it was time to go back, the (newly reconditioned) engine wouldn't start. The boat captian and rest of the crew had the hatch open and the fuel lines bled in about fifteen to twenty minutes and we were on our way. You might want to ask if the boat is in top shape when you book, it was a realtively small inconvenience to our day.

The crew were very helpful, the boat was fine, the dive went off without a hitch. Great experience!

“Nice, Friendly Operator”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

Being from Texas, I did not know what to expect from my planned trip with Charleston Scuba. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I forgot to bring a cutting device and they were kind to loan me one for the trip. Several people got seasick on the trip and the staff was very attentive to their condition. They kept everyone hydrated and comfortable while on board. The staff did an excellent job with their dive briefing of the dive sites. Great Trip!

Thanks so much for your review! We had a great time diving with you on our boat - it's hard to believe you've been certified less than two years - you were such a good diver! Please give us a call again when you're heading our way; we'd love to have you dive with us again!

Happy Diving!
