Owner description: Joe Riley Stadium is home to the Charleston Riverdogs, concerts, camps, and other activities. It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray).

We had a beach vacation planned for the Charleston area and decided we would check out the A minor league baseball game. My boys, 8 and 10, had a blast. The park is beautiful, right by the marina. It has food and drink vendors like any major league baseball park. It was a great time!

Thank Angola

We went to a Riverdogs game with the kids. A pleasant evening. Those if us interested in the game had fun and those of us interested in the snacks had lots to choose from. Only hard part is avoiding Tony the Peanut man due to daughter's allergies, he and his product make us nervous. Really wish they had a section where peanuts where not allowed.

Nice stadium close to downtown Charleston. Lots of parking. Food options and prices reasonable. A fun way to while away a few hours while enjoying Charleston's mild climate.

The food was great, the beer cold, the atmosphere family friendly, the sun at you back or side for most of the stadium, with a nice breeze coming from the river. A great all American summer afternoon/evening. Loved it.

Whenever I travel to a new city I try to check their minor league baseball team if there is one. It's a great way to see a side of a city that I normally wouldn't had I just done the touristy things. Charleston has the Riverdogs and they're affiliated with the Yankees (love the irony of that). The park they play in is good, the crowd was fun the night I was there, and the Dogs won. A good time was had by all!
