Friendly staff. This was not a guided tour so not worth the price. The tour turned out to be a bunch of people going on a boat ride in Charleston Harbor with no narration from the "tour guides". At the bare minimum I expected a brief history of Charleston instead it was left up to the clients to ask questions of the staff. The least they could have done was give a short history on Fort Sumter and the USS Yorktown since we passed right by them. Not worth the price!

The sunset cruise is the one non-narrated tour we operate. The tour is advertised as such. Quoting directly from the website and our brochure, "Experience the beautiful sights and sounds as Charleston’s unique skyline, comes alive with peaceful and breathtaking views of sunset silhouetted steeples. Dolphins and shore birds will entertain you with their whimsy. Our captain and mate are prepared to answer any questions you may have." We supply complimentary light snacks, play music, and have a cash bar on all of our sunsets. If a narrated tour is what you;re after, please feel free to joini us on any of the other tours we offer.

I went on a nature and a sunset tour, both were great the nature tour was very informative Katie the naturalist was very knowledgeable and plesant. Captain Ron was very helpful in moving the boat in position for shots with the dolphins when we saw them. The boat was very clean and comfrontable to explore the Charletson waterways. A trip to Charleston with out one of the tours with Sandlapper would be a vacation short of perfection.

My fiance and myself took the nature/dolphin cruise and had an absolute blast. The crew showed us crab traps and took us to Morris Island. We walked around picked up some shells and sharks teeth. The best part was the pods of dolphins feeding right off of the island. The dolphins were as close as about 30 or 40 feet away from the shore and since my fiance walked about three feet into the water the pictures look amazing. Great activity for all ages.

This tour was very nice. Our favorite part was actually getting to walk out on Morris Island and see the dolphin swimming very close to the shore line. We also enjoyed picking up shells and looking for shark teeth.

Good tour of the charleston harbor with a ride to Morris Island. We took the nature tour which leaves at 2pm daily. The boat was comfortable and our naturalist (Bo) was very knowledgeable and great with kids. We saw lots of dolphins, took in a crab trap (kids got to touch the crab) and then collected shells on Morris Island, including shark teeth.
