This is a beauriful, family friendly park. Finding parking was a challenge, but the view and the vibe made it worth it.

Walked a long path along the riverfront. A nice Cool Breeze all the time coming off the water. The weather was hot that day so there were a lot of children and touris playing in the fountains. But it makes for a lovely walk and good pictures. The Fountains are beautiful.

A beautifully landscaped, small park that provides phenomenal views of the harbor (Ft Sumter in the distance). There is the Pineapple fountain, a masterpiece to view and there is also a splash pad like fountain that kids of all ages can play in and cool down. While my fountain splashing days are well behind me, one a hot day in August, I was happy to catch the overspray now and then. While wandering downtown, head to the water front park to relax and cool down

Though Mayor Joe Riley is no longer Mayor of Charleston,( he was in office for decades,) his legendary transformation of Charleston is nothing less than extraordinary. His waterfront park is no exception. On East Bay St.running along the mouth of Charleston Harbor. The battery, rainbow row. Beautiful soft grassy park with cool shade trees and flower gardens makes for the perfect day outing. 2 outdoor fountains that kids seem to want to get wet from. Magnificent views galore. So plan a picnic for a day of fun and beauty.

The waterfront is very pretty, very calming. Just a nice place to walk along the water. The design is nicely laid out and organized.
