Really pretty park to walk along the waterfront, stroll under the trees, take a break at them any benches and just enjoy those with/around you. We went on 4th of July and it was littered with anxious families waiting for fireworks. The park is big enough to never really feel too crowded with all those folks. They have a great fountain the kids were enjoying also. Really pretty way to see the waterfront.

We chose this place to have a quick, intimate wedding this past weekend because this is our favorite and most beautiful place ever.

Strolling around Charleston was hot and humid with little breeze until we found Waterfront Park. The trees and water provided a very pleasant place to sit and relax. Great views.

We walked out to see the beautiful views of the waters. That part was very impressive. After about fifteen minutes, though, it was time to go. I wish we'd spent more time at the park on land, but we could see the famous pineapple fountain from a distance. I would recommend this stop on anyone's itinerary as a worthwhile quick short stop.
