We enjoyed the park and the view of the bay and of Fort Sumter. It's a good place to stroll amongst the trees and also catch a glimpse of the nearby bridge.

Need to check out this park. It has swings under a cover. protect against rain or sun. Great views of the bay and Fort Sumter and Patriots Point.

Waterfront Park is one of my favorite spots on a hot summer day. You can cool off in the big playing fountains, relax on a porch swing (if you're lucky enough to find an empty one!), or hang out on the pier. It's a great spot to catch the afternoon sea breezes and it can be entertaining, too. A few years ago, I actually saw someone catch a shark off the pier! That was pretty cool.

After lots of tours, dinners, and mind blowing history, you may need a mental break. Head on down to the Waterfront Park. There are big shady trees for the kids to play under. There is a huge pier where the Ravenel Bridge and the Harbor are a sight to behold. But what really awed me, were the diving dolphins. We saw dozens. My friend and I were convinced they knew the crowd were there to see them.

Stopped by after breakfast for a quick walk. Great views and good location. Pier has swinging love seats if you can get one that isn't full.
