This was one of our last stops as we were leaving Charleston, we took a walk down to the waterfront after lunch for an afternoon stroll. The pier was very nice, I really liked the big swings they had and lots of seating. We were lucky enough to see quite the dolphin show as well, with them chasing each other and stealing buoys. If we lived here I would make it a daily run spot or dog walking location.

It was a gorgeous January day - sunny and 60 degrees. We enjoyed everything about the park. A definite must for anyone touring Charleston.

I like to go out early morning and watch the sun come up. Peaceful, beautiful...what can I say except that's Charleston. Take your time and stroll. Not all things are meant to be done quickly.

Home of the famous Pineapple Fountain (delightful), it's a clean, airy, welcoming park facing the harbor, with a nice view of the fort and naval aircraft carrier on the horizon. Relaxing swings, lots of lush trees/foliage, cool kids splashing fountain. Parking nearby at cost, street parking very limited/challenging. Nice place to unwind, great starting spot to walk around Battery Row.

We fully enjoyed our walk on Waterfront park and learned a bit of history along the way! There are some lovely homes to see there as well!
