We fully enjoyed our walk on Waterfront park and learned a bit of history along the way! There are some lovely homes to see there as well!

“relax and enjoy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

This is one of the most blissful settings I've ever seen in a park. Located next to the harbor, and nestled behind apartment buildings in Charleston French quarter, this makes you wish to move to Charleston and live here.

There are grass reeds growing in the salt water. Herons walk among the reeds. And just beyond, you can see dolphins slowly diving down and up for their feeding. Just beyond ships pass by,

Gather a good book, and plan to spend a few hours enjoying probably the best meditation location in all of Charleston.

“Beautiful ocean side park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

We loved our stroll around this park, especially the views of Ft. Sumter and Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. There is a beautiful pineapple fountain and I'm sure during the summer there are lots of kids playing in the water. There is a nice pier with tables and wonderful wooden swings. It would be a nice place to picnic, but don't feed the birds or you might not get to eat your food. The walk through the park was very tranquil. Take a book if you have time to sit under the trees and read.

“Great place for a stroll”

This is a beautiful park along the waterfront where you can picnic, stroll by historic homes, contemplate the sea, view statues and just enjoy a beautiful afternoon. Loved it. Worth an hour or so.

“Romantic, people and dog friendly park”

I love the swings and it is always so clean! Being able to relax on the swings and listen to the boat sounds and the splashing of the waterfall is just the perfect way to relax.
