Service held in French once or twice a year; if you can't attend a service, you may have to be lucky to find someone to let you in for a visit.

“Interesting and informative”
Reviewed May 12, 2012

A church member on site told us about the history of the Hugenots in SC, and the efforts of the current congregation to preserve the heritage and the building. The hymnal seems like a typical Protestant hymnal, except that the first hymn each Sunday is in French! The building is beautiful and definitely worth a look, but it is the story that makes it worth going inside.

“Quirky part of history”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

The best part of our tour was the quite funny member leading the tour as part of the House and Garden tours. He was very informative and had an easy to hear voice and his little quips made it quite interesting in a very long day of touring.

A beautiful church in a city filled with beautiful churches! A lovely volunteer gave a nice history of the congregation and the reason it exists. Peaceful and quiet.
