When the Allen's of Chicago Rib Eye steak is cooked to perfection and is so delicious that it's flavor overpowers any steak sauce you might try, you know you've got a good thing going. It's pricey, but worth it.

We spent Thanksgiving day at Hall's and we are totally glad we did! We were greeted by beautiful piano music and the proprietor, Billy Hall. The entire meal was perfect in every way. We opted for steak and prime rib instead of the traditional turkey meal. We had a lovely lobster corn chowder to begin, and then had perfectly prepared steaks. Their sommelier must be highly esteemed - their wine selection was incredible! And the service team was impeccable in a lovely setting. A pricey meal but worth every cent! Oh, and Billy walked us out, thanking us for being there. A total delight!

Very pleased with our first visit at this restaurant. We were greeted at the door with a handshake and introduction not just a welcome. We decided to sit at the bar for a bit before taking a table. Was not overly crowded at the time and Edward, the bartender, was excellent. After an hour it is now very busy now so we decided to eat at the bar. Same great service. Tommy Hall came over twice to check on us while there. We left stuffed with great food, great service, and will return without a doubt.

We went to Halls for Thanksgiving Day. We were treated like family the minute we walked through the door and were greeted by Billy Hall with a hand shake welcoming us. The waiter Stephan was personable and very professional he took care of our every need never made us feel rushed and explained the menu and made great recommendations! My husband had the dry aged rib eye which when brought to the table was asked to cut into to make sure it was how he wanted it prepared! He said it was one of the best pieces of meat he ever had, I enjoyed the flounder stuffed with crab! The sides were to die for especially the corn with jack cheese casserole! Jeanine Hall came to check on us during dinner to make sure everything was to our liking they really made you feel at home! Make sure you leave room for dessert but share it as the are huge we had the Bread pudding with bourbon sauce that is made in hours and to die for! The prices are expensive but the meal was worth every dime! Highly highly recommended!!

We could not get a reservation here for dinner so we decided to stop in for a late lunch at the bar. Therefor I can't speak to the regular dinner menu but the service from the hostess to the waitress to the owner were as good as I have seen. All friendly and knowledgable and helpful. We ate a salad and a steak martini. Each was very good and presented well. I would like to go back for a full meal but will need to book further in advance.
