“Quick and decent”

The margarita's weren't that great but the food was - chicken and fish tacos. If you like cilantro this is the place to get your fill.
Great casual place with that kickback setting. Go casual.

“Great Margaritas and Nachos”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

We liked this place so much that we ate there late night 2 nights in a row. The nachos were piled high and reasonably priced. I am really picky about my margaritas, but they had some of the best!

“Slightly above TacoBell, well maybe not.”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stopped in about 530pm on a Sunday night our first visit to this establishment. There were a few tables and bar stools in the front of the restaurant and then lots of tables in an enclosed outdoor area and more in "pure" outdoors. The restaurant is long and quite narrow.
All the patrons other than ourselves seemed to be in their 20's and 30's and having a good time.
Waitstaff was attentive without being overboard. I ordered a steak taco, a mahi mahi taco and the house lime margarita that was a $4 special. My friend had a sausage quesadilla and a beer.
Everything came out fairly quick but was really plain. The quesadilla is served on a pizza like tin with no garnish. The tacos were in a paper container looking pretty forlorn with only lettuce on the steak and cabbage on the fish. Reminded me of perhaps a school lunch presentation.

The fish taco was inedible overwhelmingly salty and the fish was like chopped into tiny pieces reminding one of a tablespoon of cheap tuna. The steak taco was light on meat but what was there was fine. I just have never had tacos served anywhere without chopped tomatoes mounds of lettuce or cabbage before. No free salsa and chips to start us off either.

On leaving I noticed the overwhelming smell coming from the bathroom as we walked by. We have no reason to ever come back here.

“Tasty treats from south of the border”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Enjoyed the drinks and large appetizers, after the bridge run. Those bloody Mary's helped soothe those tired legs.

“This is not Mexican food”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a place with a fun atmosphere, and decor, that's conducive to heavy duty consumption of alcohol . Having lived in southern CA, and Florida, the overpriced "Mexican" food was inedible.
