We travelled to Charleston South Carolina from Miami on Dec. 23 and stayed at this newly renovated townhouse for two nights on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25, 2017. It was our first trip to Charleston and we selected this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse because it is in a quiet area and situated a short drive both from downtown Charleston (20 min) and to the beautiful plantations on Ashley River (20 min) - highly recommend visiting both places! The townhouse was in quiet residential neighbourhood, which we liked (especially since we were there over Christmas), and it looked as if it was just remodelled. Everything was spotless and seemed brand new. The two bedrooms each had spacious closets (one was a full walk-in) and were quite comfortable. We and our kids (both under the age of 8) slept very well.
The kitchen was great - I loved the gas stove (I now want one in my own home...) and all the cutlery, plates etc. were new (we used them, while we tend to bring a few plates and cutlery of our own...). Amazon's Alexa is there and my kids had a blast talking to it and requesting songs they knew (it was their highlight of the whole trip to Charleston!). From Google we could not see where the parking was (which was a worry), but were assured by the owner that it was right at the townhouse. On arrival, we saw a parking pad right next to the house (Google map was outdated!) and our car was actually parked right outside (very convenient).
Bottom line - the place was great - a real home away from home - and that made our stay in Charleston better - we knew we could get back home and just relax and didn't need to unpack everything we tend to travel with. On our next trip to Charleston, we definitely plan on returning to this townhouse!
