“Beautiful Roman Catholic Cathedral Tour”
Reviewed November 16, 2008

This old parish is full of beautiful icons and the most beautiful stained glass windows in all of the US! The maker of the windows is more world reknown than Tiffanys!

A tour is offered after the Sun. am Mass (We attended Mass on The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica Feast Day, to our delight, in Latin!)

If you plan on attending Mass, get there early and dress up, as it is a well attended parish, and the seat of the Bishop.
Communion is offered under both species, and expect to kneel. Non Catholics may sit at the back of the Cathedral durning Mass and observe.

A must go see for non Catholics and Catholics, out side of worship times and Mass, you may tour the sanctuary.

BE RESPECTFUL - God is present in the sanctuary upstairs in the Cathedral and down stairs in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. (The RED LAMP is always lit!)

A gift shop is located outside, and there is parking inside the grounds, entrance at the big iron gates off of Broad Street.
