RoRo, our driver, and Tom, our horse, made a great team. RoRo shared stories and information about historic Charleston. She was full of enthusiasm and seemed to really enjoy her job. Tom, though quieter, was amazing in his own right, seeming to know just what to do and where to go. He would pull to the side of the street to allow a car to pass, or wait for Ro's go ahead at intersections (even though we are pretty certain he can understand traffic signals). Back at the barn, the horses appeared to be well taken care of. We love the fact that they are rotated out to Sugah Cain Plantation, where they can enjoy some time off.
