“Extremely friendly staff!!”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Had a very polite gentleman greet us at the door and immediately make us feel at home.
Our servers name was Deborah and was also extremely polite and would brighten
anyone's morning. Very glad we were seated at her table.

The food was very good, but not great. We had heard great reccommendations
and reviews maybe our expectations were too high. The place was packed, so many
others have heard the same.

“Great Breakfast Spot”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

The best breakfast place in historical Charleston. Sharon, the general manager is fabulous and debbie are server was excellent. Great selection for a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately they are always busy and the first person you meet is not a good first impression. The gentleman is just rude. He appears frustrated and annoyed with the job of greeting guest and taking their names. If you are not put off by him you will enjoy the dining experience.

“Great brunch!”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

We are frequent travelers and totally enjoyed Toast's brunch with unlimited mimosas. The four of each had different meals and each of them were excellent. I had he Eggs Meeting Street and I would highly recommend it. BTW, if you have never had grits, this is the place to try them. And if you want great service ask for Mary. She was pleasant, quick to anticipate our needs and exceeded all of our expectations. In a town known for their excellent low country food and service TOAST IS THE TOAST OF THE TOWN.

“Srictlu Average”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

The breakfast here was disappointing because Toast is highy regarded as a brakfast venue. My wife enjoyed her breakfast but I did not enjoy mine. I ordered eggs with corned beef hash and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were tasty--way better than the potatoes at Eli's. The eggs were overcooked and what really disappointed me was that the amount of hash was very small. The service was very friendly and efficient----i will give Toast another chance on my next visit. Breakfast for two--$30.
