This restaurant is not at all as pictured... it is very dark, my husband described it as "dingy". The dim lights, dark walls, old drapes and pillows gave me a feeling of not being clean, though I can't honestly say I saw dirt or dust. The poor waiter seemed to have the dining area we were in, as well as the outside dining area and the upstairs. He was clearly over whelmed- though did a great job in spite of the obvious challenge. He was so harried we did not want to bother him for any reason. My rib eye was excellent, though my husband felt the sword fish was "water logged"- and the mezze plate appetizer was good, but nothing special; the hummus was average, the tampenade flavorless and the olives were a bit strange, tasting of all spice and cinnamon. The wine list is pretty good- I wouldn't hurry back.
