Great way to learn the history of Charleston. Three different routes - your route is chosen by city required lottery, but no matter which, you'll enjoy the ride.

“Tip Your Driver!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Overall, I found this an excellent way to explore Charleston! Yes, it's a very "tourist" thing to do, but it's very interesting to hear a little bit of history and learn about some of Charleston's somewhat hidden attractions. If you get to the barn/pickup point early, the staff is happy to let you pet the horses.

Having taken this tour in February, I can't imagine that this hour-long tour would be as pleasant (for visitors, tour guides, or the animals) in the hot, humid summer months.

For two people, you'll be looking at a price tag of roughly $40-50. Also, be sure to tip your driver!

The tour and the guide was a lot of fun and very educational. She didn't rush the tour and have a lot of history dates.

“Fabulous Tour!”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

The carriage tour was extremely informative for an hour of your time. The guide was very pleasant and we learned so much about Charleston. If it's your first time to visit, I would highly recommend this tour to help you determine what interests you the most about Charleston and where you may want to go for the rest of your trip. I recommend taking a map and as the tour guide points out something you'd like to come back and visit on foot, star it on your map!

“Super Guide !!”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Taking this tour was extremely enjoyable. Our guide, Bones was loaded with information and laughs. This was the best thing we did in Charleston. The 1 hour tour was beautiful. You get to here about the city and how it has grown, the Ghosts and the Wars it has seen. Don't miss this tour.
