I recently stayed in Charleston at the end of September. I was hesitant to book a "motel" to stay in but I read the positive reviews on this one and decided to book it. I'm so glad I did! The hotel was right in the middle of all the action in downtown Charleston and it was by far the least expensive! I was just there visiting for one night so there was no need for a fancy, overpriced hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and you can tell the hotel does a good job keeping up the property. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Charleston.
Note -I noticed on a few reviews that some were complaining about the issue of pay parking. I'm not sure why they would expect the hotel to not charge parking? Parking in downtown Charleston is very difficult and I have no issue at all with Days Inn charging for parking, just like every other hotel does! In addition to that, the staff made it very clear that I needed to put the parking decal in the window right away and it even says it on the decal. If anyone got towed, they have no one to blame but themselves.More
