It was in a great spot to walk to everything ! Also next to Toast resturant which has super tastey breakfast! The room was small but clean and ok. Tiny bathroom. Safe in room, iron, hairdryer, microwave,tv and a fridge. We stayed in a second floor non-smoking. The problem was no elevator and lugging bags upstairs wasn't fun. Desk staff were very nice. There was a tiny pool but it had many leaves in it.
You are in walking distance to everything! I also found out Charleston is dog friendly! The hotel also takes dogs for $10 a dog per night in a smoking room.
