Stayed for 2 nights in non smoking King room. Clean room with no odors. Great hot shower with good water flow. Smaller room but more than adequate. King bed very large with 6 pillows provided on bed. Micro, fridge, TV and AC all worked very well(Rm 109). Free parking right in front of our first floor room. Outside pool, lighted at night on cute court(it was 85 degrees outside) which was very refreshing. Never moved our car the whole stay. Walked from boat ride to Fort Sumter next to aquarium all the way to the Battery/waterfront on the opposite side of historic district. Great restaurants along the way. King Street shopping 1 block away. Beautiful historic homes/churches/courtyards easy walk 1/2 block right of motel parking lot. I would definitely use this motel again! I miss it already! Friendly informative staff also

Room Tip: Non smoking King great choice Make reservations ASAP to get better room

As the title says, perfect location, right in the middle of the Historic area. Walking distance to everything. Hotel is clean and rooms are large enough. No need to pay $3-400 per night to be in this district. Free parking and wifi. No breakfast included, but great restaurant adjoining that is reasonable cost and a great breakfast. Recommended.

Room Tip: Smoking rooms available for those of us that are still left.

I booked the trip at least 2 weeks before. It sais pet firendly but what I did not know isthat if youwant a non smoking room theywill chareg you 100.00$, yes you are reading right, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS IF YOU GO IN A NON SMOKING ROOM.
I had written in the little box that I wanted a non smoking room and had a 13 pounds dog.
Nobody never got in touch with me to let me know if i had a dog i had to go in a ssmoking room.I stop smoking in 1980 and can smell smoke from a cigarette even on the beach. Had to argue to win my point but cannot recommend this hotel if you have a dog
I don't even know how the health people can let you guys do this, knowing all the against smoking and it's effect.

Motel is conveniently located. It is within walking distance to many attractions. The rooms are a little on the small side, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return soon.

Our rooms - in a back corridor that received no sun or fresh air - were damp and smelly - I could almost see the mold growing! There was absolutely no way for fresh air to get to the room due to a cement block wall right outside the door. Neither the TV nor the bathroom fan was working in one of the rooms.

all went well liked it very nice place.
however noticed bugs in the bath room like small water bugs so it would be a good idea to spray bug spray in the shower area but being near the water that would be common .
all we had a great sleep and a lot of fun thank you.
