We booked this Holiday Inn because of location. It is very convenient to drive from hotel to downtown locations. Mall is across the street, many eating places close by. The hotel is very nice & clean, & the staff is very helpful & accomodating.

We stopped in to view the solar eclipse in totality. Front desk was great both days, very helpful and efficient.
Very nice room (we were in a king leisure).....comfortable bed. We were in room 104, close to the exit door to the parking lot.
Ms B. ran the breakfast room on our first day....super efficient. They had biscuits and gravy....bacon.....sausage patties....pastries....fruit......juices and milk.....cheese omelets......Everything was great, and hot.
We will stay here again.

Upon arriving I wasn't too sure about what to expect. Their lobby doesn't look great and there were doors that probably shouldn't be open to keep you from seeing the 'back of the house'. Putting all that aside, the hotel is undergoing renovations so it will look better.
Their rooms were quiet and spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The fridge kept things that needed refrigeration at proper temperature and the room was clean.

Stayed here during 100% humidity period and very warm weather but you would not know that from being inside the hotel. Such nice people there and very helpful. The construction did not interfere with our stay. I am sure the employees there are just as anxious for the construction to be completed. Rooms are good sized and very clean.

A little disappointed by this place. Hotel is currently renovating and was not advertised on its website when booking room.
Pros: Rooms by far are one of the best features of this place right now, design and layout work well. Cookies available every night around 630 pm. Coffee and tea always available. Free USA today newspaper as well. Tv selection is solid.
Cons: Wi-Fi was horrible, gave up trying to use it after one day. Breakfast was provided from a small food truck type trailer. Options were limited on what you could get and food was subpar. The cinnamon rolls at breakfast are one of the reasons I love their great breakfast spread. So breakfast gets a huge thumbs down for not trying to provide the same breakfast and instead outsourcing it. Room keys were temperamental and sometimes had to be recoded. Pool is meh and is outside with no hot tub.
Once all the renovations are done this place will be solid with some downfalls still, but this is one of the worse experiences I have ever had with a holiday inn express. Hope your overall experience is better if you stay here.

We do indeed have an alert on our website, and on our phone app, notifying all potential guests of the ongoing renovation work, as well as to the fact that our breakfast buffet was temporarily unavailable. It was impossible to provide this same breakfast due to the fact that our kitchen was literally ripped out. With no stove, oven, fridge, or even running water, there was absolutely no way to cook, and outsourcing it was indeed the only option. We did resume serving our breakfast buffet as of July 21st. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our new rooms, as well as our amenities. We hope you will stay with us again to see the completed work.
