We stayed on the island during our visit to Charleston, and were tired of seafood, so chose Dragon Palace for dinner. The décor is heavy on the lacquered wood, but that is traditional Chinese interior style. We ordered a couple traditional dishes, the cashew chicken and the garlic chicken, both with fried rice. The presentation was attractive and the portion size was adequate, but not generous. We shared a mango cheesecake for desert, and it was a real treat. Delicate mango flavor made the cheesecake very enjoyable.
