As almost anyone else here, was staying here to attend Marine boot camp graduation. This hotel is very convenient to Parris Island. Nothing fancy, but nice. Slowest elevators on planet earth. Included breakfast was okay, but not great. A bit pricey, but not much competition in town. Oh yes, free wi-fi is always very nice.

Good clean room. Insanely good hot water! Large bathroom, great bed, room had a pull out couch, armchair and desk. Large flat screen tv. Everything worked properly!

The only downside was the room had mold growing on the outside of the window which kind of detracted from the view of the coast. The restaurant downstairs is good, but very very slow. Leave lots of time for breakfast!

Good sub shop in the parking lot, and wends across the street. Lots of things nearby.

Stayed over a weekend in a two room suite. Everything was clean and in good order...very comfortable bed. View of marsh from the room was very nice... try to get on that side. A good value when you get the pre-paid rate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one!

Room Tip: get a room on the marsh side

A $4.95 breakfast voucher was included for either an egg or pancake breakfast, which was fine, but if you like variety, it would be nice to be given a $4.95 credit toward anything off the menu. The "creek" view is very nice from the restaurant. We would have eaten on the patio if the furniture wasn't wet from the morning dew. The room was very nice and included a make-up mirror, refrigerator and microwave. Our only "complaint", if you want to call it that, is that ALL of the plumbing fixtures were wobbly and the toilet flapper was disconnected. It's a good thing my husband knew exactly what was wrong and didn't mind fixing it. Also, we were only provided one bar of soap to share between the sink and tub. (It always seemed to be at the sink we we were showering.) Overall the hotel was very nice, the room looked new and it was clean. We were vry comfortable and they staff was friendly.

We had such a wonderful time at this hotel. The hotel staff were outstanding, especially our waitress Lori!! The rooms were emaculate ( we booked two ) and our river view was amazing! We were just a few minutes from Parris Island Marine Base. Although we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, anyone could serve themselves hot coffee or decaf in the lobby. In the afternoon anyone could help themselves to sweet tea and freshly popped popcorn which everyone seemed to enjoy! Our jacuzzi worked just fine, very relaxing after a day of running around : ) The food at this hotel was delicious, service was excellent! The beds were turned down perfectly! We were definately on vacation and enjoyed every moment while at this hotel! We would have loved to spend just a few more days! Dining outside was especially nice! Thank you all for making our long trip to South Carolina so worthwhile!!

Room Tip: Definately ask for a room with a view of the grasslands, preferrably with jacuzzi for that extra bit...

We arrived at almost 10 p.m. after driving for 15 hours and the hotel was So nice. We quickly checked in and went to our room. It was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We also noticed how quiet it was. You did not hear doors opening or closing or the neighbors bathwater running. We rested very well and would stay here again if our travels bring us this way. Our only wish was that we were staying in the area more than one night so we could have enjoyed other features in the hotel.
