What a treat it was to eat at this restaurant. I started out with a warm caesar salad, Oh my goodness, amazing!!!! Complex flavors that blow your mind. The absolute best caesar salad I have EVER had the pleasure of eating. Then on to shrimp and grits, a low country staple. Again, the complexity of the flavors for such a simplistic dish, almost leaves me speechless. My husband had Triple tail, grits and collards and love it. There was not a lot of conversation at that meal. We were intent on enjoying the culinary experience. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and cozy on a cool evening. A fire in the the firepit outside was a nice touch. Waiters were very attentive without being obstrusive. Did I mention the warm rolls...the best!! An all around delightful experience. We will make the 500 plus mile trip again and we will eat at Saltus River Grill. Additionally, the view would be beautiful at sunset. We were there late.
