“Even better 2nd time...”
Reviewed September 2, 2014

We ate here a few months ago and it was wonderful. We took some friends here that had not been and it was even better. The place was busy and our server was great-she worked really hard to serve our party of 8. The menu is just terrific-too many choices! I ended up with a filet and the group shared a couple of tapas. Everything is well prepared and the sauce on my filet was just great. I like this place a lot. This has to be one of the very best places to eat in town.

“great tapas and dinners; very good service”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

Eight adults and a 1 year-old for dinner at a table in the bar. TVs were on closed captioning or low volume which made conversational voice adequate for all at table to hear. A few salads and wide variety of tapas and a couple of entrees. Salads had crisp and fresh ingredients and were quite appropriate for the type selected from the menu. Very good she-crab soup. All tapas passed the taste test for most all of the folks that tried the many varieties ordered. Even got a couple converts to escargot. (o: The crab cake entree ordered by one of us was very much enjoyed. London was an excellent waitress and was quite attentive even though Emily's was very busy. Hard to beat for the variety of tapas available in Beaufort. The one-year-old's pasta was delivered quickly and he worked on it through our entire dinner.

“Best of Beaufort”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

We visited Emily’s on Wednesday evening with our small dine-around group of 6 people. It was a delightful experience.

There appears to be plenty of parking and we were seated right away at a large booth. The atmosphere was rustic and the menu quite varied with a large selection of Tapas and dinner entries. The only complaint was with the Gumbo Soup which both parties said had too much vinegar.

I enjoyed the Steak Au Poivre ($24 for 8 Oz) which was served with fried potatoes – quite yummy. My wife was less excited about an evening special: Chef’s Choice Pasta ($20). She felt that it was not freshly prepared and arrived at the table a little cold and mushy. We finished up with a “just OK” Key Lime Pie ($5.50) and a “great” Chocolate Marquise ($8.50). Our total bill with tip but no adult beverages was $78.

Others in our party raved about the Tapas that they ordered with no complaints or suggestions.

Our server, London, was bouncy and helpful and delivered everything in a timely manner.

It is on our list of favorite places to go in Beaufort.

“Wonderful!”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

By far the best meal and service that we have ever had. Bryan our waiter was simply wonderful!
We did not have reservations but we were accommodated immediately and was given immediate service. Thanks to the bartender at the lounge at the Hilton Garden Inn for recommending Emily's. We will be back with friends.
