Tired of the same old menus? This quaint restaurant offers a delicious European cuisine using only the freshest herbs and foods. We live here in Beaufort and have made this restaurant our first choice when entertaining guests or just interested in a delightful evening for ourselves. The view is breath-taking and the owners and staff (owner's family) are most accomodating. It has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The portions are large so be very hungry!

What a pleasant surprise to find a German menu in Beaufort. We had the Jaeger Schnitzel and a sausage platter and both were excellent. Our sides were sauerkraut and the rotkohl...the kraut was very good, but I think I do a better job with the red cabbage...lol. The service was also excellent and the view from our table on the deck was beautiful. Two suggestions would make this restaurant even better: 1) they need a good wine list/beer assortment and 2) dimming the lights inside would add greatly to the ambiance. The food is so good it really deserves a little more refined setting. I'd love to see this place in Charleston, but then you'd have to add 25% to the menu prices. Can't wait to get back down to Beaufort to try other dishes.

This restaurant will surprise you. The food for Sunday brunch was excellent and the service was awesome. The sad part is the employees sitting on the beautiful deck smoking as we arrived. Could have killed the meal but luckily the food was so good we will go back.

My Sis told us several times she wanted to try out this restaurant because several people told her how good it was. We finally decided to try it on a Friday nite. What a wonderful evening we had. I had the Spinaci E Pasta Aglio. The flavors burst in my mouth. Others in the party had the Schnitzel which they said was the best they ever tasted! We ate out on the deck with a beautiful view of the marsh. Everything was wonderful! But, the best of the evening was meeting Chef Patrick and his wife Maria, owners, and their daughters, Samantha (who was our server, and one of the best servers I've known), and Glaychia who is the pastry chef (among other duties!) By the time we got ready to go we felt like part of their family! Guess what? We came back the next day for brunch, and what a brunch it was! so many items to choose from. I had the Sweet Challah French Toast which was mouth watering before each bite. We like this restaurant so much we came back this past Saturday nite! Try this little jewel, you won't be disappointed!

We have been eating here for the last year and it gets better with every visit. The menu has expanded but they have kept the German dishes we enjoy. Our family including the "grands" can all find something they like for breakfast , lunch or dinner. We just wish they were open more than Fri, Sat and Sun.
